Current Classes

At Nurture, no previous yoga experience is necessary.

Our small group face-to-face and online classes run weekly by the term, to help you to get the most out of your practice. Bookings are opening soon for Term 2 classes, beginning in May.

Current classes include:

01. Gentle

Suitable for all abilities and perfect for beginners and pre and post natal. A focus on gentle, mindful movements including strength, stability and mobility, relaxation and restoration. A wonderful way to wind down.

02. Slow Flow

Incorporates slightly stronger and more challenging strength, stability and mobility poses, with slow flow sequences and holds. Includes relaxation and meditation. All poses can be modified, suitable for all abilities.

03. Yin/Restorative 

Suitable for all abilities. Consists of a calming breath practice, yin yoga (poses that are held for 4-6 minutes each to help lengthen and release your deep connective tissues), restorative poses, guided meditation and relaxation. Bolsters and props are used to support you.  Total bliss for your body and mind.

Group Classes

Face-to-face yoga-inspired exercise classes that are welcoming and supportive for all abilities and levels of experience.

Classes run by the term and consist of postures and movements focussing on mobility, stability, strength and flexibility, pranayama (breathwork), meditation and relaxation.

We use a range of props in class to help support the body, by providing you many options for each pose. Term and casual class bookings are available.

Online Classes

Classes that you can attend regularly and enjoy from the comfort of your own home.

Our online classes are delivered live via Zoom as well as on-demand and are perfect to help you stay connected and moving if you prefer to roll out your mat at home. 

No special equipment needed - just a laptop, computer or smartphone.  These are a great way to try Nurture’s classes. Term bookings and casual classes available.

Private Classes

One-on-one class packages that are tailored to your specific needs, health concerns and goals.

This option is perfect if you’d like more individualised attention and a class that is all about you and your needs. We start with an assessment so that we can discuss your needs and goals and packages available.

A range of different styles are available, including pre-natal yoga, post-natal yoga, chair yoga, as well as yin, restorative, gentle yoga, meditation and relaxation.

These sessions can be scheduled at a frequency that works best for you, and delivered either face-to-face, in your own home or online.

YOGA CLASS ESSENTIALS

For face-to-face classes, term payment is required up front to secure your booking. Payment options are advised at the time of booking.

All of Nurture’s yoga-inspired exercise classes are led by physiotherapists, meaning they are claimable under physiotherapy extras with most private health funds.  (Code 561.) Contact your health fund to check if you are covered.
